Kinda brings to mind how people in primary school sometimes sing it right, some mumble along… And when they get to secondary school they just pretend or just ‘anyhow’ sing, or come up with ‘remixes’.
Be proud of your own country and the song that Zubir Said composed for all of us singaporeans. Respect his memory and creation.

The story in Hatsune Mix is based off the each character of the
Vocaloid Character Voice Series. Personally, i feel the manga itself it pretty funny and worth the five minutes to read through each chapter =)
